Everything I do is based on the idea that every person, every place, every idea begins with a story. The written word - literature, poetry, stories - has always been where mankind seeks truth, guidance and knowledge about how to be. I believe that storytelling in all forms empowers us to see the world as it is; to understand our past; to envision the future; and to shape the places we call home. As a result and throughout my work, I envision community elevation as empowering others to tell their stories.

About Me

I am a proud graduate of Western Illinois University - Quad Cities with a Bachelors & Masters in English. I began my career at Girls Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois as a grant writer before transitioning into community engagement and community development in Mercer County. Since 2016, I have been a part of many amazing projects in community and organizational marketing, community development and economic development, mostly in Mercer County, IL.

I co-founded a startup consulting firm in 2024 after an array of projects consumed me and two close colleagues. What is now known as the Prosperity Consulting Alliance, LLC, I am able to be a part of many different projects and initiatives, most of which take place in Mercer County - my home.
